Bochy: “It looked like we skipped spring training.”

To me it looked like this:
The Giants were bad. So very, very bad. How bad? I tried to use the game to get my reluctant 6 year old to go to sleep. Her reaction? “The Giants are so bad at playing.” It worked – after 20 minutes she said she’d rather go to bed than watch more of the bad baseball. I should have been so lucky.
And when Joaquin Arias is your best hitter, you know the game is bad. So very, very bad.
Barry Zito was probably the only Giant that did not suck. He gave up 8 hits during his 6 innings of work, but just 3 ER. He even got 3 Ks. And this time, he walked 4 batters instead of 7. All around, not bad. The bullpen, on the other hand… Bad.
Up tomorrow: Ryan Vogelsong goes up against Clayton Kershaw.
