The last time the Giants played the Marlins…I’d rather not think about it. I was at two of those games. That wasn’t fun. But alas, Matt Cain had been Cained, Barry Zito was perfectly Zitonian, and Ryan Vogelsong had a tough time throwing strikes in the early innings, but managed to stay in the game for a while but the offense had a problem with RISP.
This doesn’t really seem that different from any other series, I suppose.

Anyway, they have Giancarlo Stanton, whose name is still very fun to say. But it will be key for the Giants to not give up any home runs to him, because that would be swell.
In the four game series, the Giants have Ryan Vogelsong, Tim Lincecum, Madison Bumgarner, and Matt Cain pitching.
For the love of everything, it would just be great to see decent defense, decent offense, and A+ pitching. Is that so much to ask fo–
