You know what’s fun?
Beating the Dodgers.
You know what’s even more fun than that?
Sweeping the Dodgers?
And more fun than that?
A shutout sweep of the Dodgers.
Yes, that’s right folks, in 27 innings played at AT&T Park these last three days, the Dodgers have scored zero runs. ZERO.
And you know what? That’s one of the best things to see approaching the All-Star Break.
Tim Lincecum looked a lot like his good ol’ self today. Still, it’s too early to say that he’s back. But is it good to see that he can throw pretty pitches again? Absolutely.
There’s a lot of negative things that people can take away from this game (such as Hector Sanchez apparently becoming Timmy’s personal catcher), but there are better things to focus on right now. Like the fact that the Dodgers were just swept. The negative can be analyzed on another day.
And, hey, the Dodgers scored zero runs.
Oh, and the Giants are now tied for first place.
