Yesterday, the Giants announced the full list of non-roster invitees (NRIs) to major league training camp. NRIs are players who aren’t on the 40-man roster who nevertheless will start spring training with the major league squad.

According to Reynold Sports, pitcher Boof Bonser has signed a minor league contract with the Giants.
Bonser was originally drafted by the Giants in 2000, but was traded to the Minnesota Twins in 2003 as part of the infamous A.J. Pierzynski trade.
In four seasons, Bonser has posted an ERA/FIP/xFIP line of 5.18/4.55/4.24.
Bonser last pitched in the MLB in 2010 as part of the Oakland A’s.
